Lake Louise
The number two most
photographed spot in Canada.
The view from our hotel
window is the best view in the world. All day kayakers active on the lake. And
people in the courtyard. And walking around the lake. Some with their pet dog.
Early this morning I was woken by a dog barking. Annoying.
Walking around the lake. We see a sign saying beware of the bears. We
don’t see any bears but we can feel their presence.
Breakfast involves choices.
You can top your cereal with
smarties, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pistachios or chocolate chips.
You can go with any time of
yoghurt or type of cereal.
You can have any omelet
cooked to your prescription.
You can then have fruit
pancakes, waffles or a chocolate donut.
Your choice may mean various things.
At night I sit next to a lady
who is part of our tour. I ask her the usual questions and the answers stun me.
She went to the same primary school and high school as me. She now works for a
man I know from Uni.
In the town confusion and
chaos amongst the traffic is the norm. Everybody trying to drive or park in the
town is a tourist. Everybody is trying to find their way around and negotiate
all the other drivers without local knowledge.
