Chapter 227: Norway : words after talking to medical staff

The wind is blowing. The waves are big. The boat is rocking and rolling.
It is difficult getting around even when holding. So far the hardest thing has been drying myself, after a shower, with one hand aboard a very lively boat.

The doctor told me: main presentations are cardiac or trauma due to falling or slipping. Aim is to stabilise patient and then they are transferred off the ship.
I wonder how much trauma this wind has caused.

The nurse tells me: no trauma last night. Everybody stayed in their cabins.
Longing for land. This rocking and rolling is no longer funny or interesting. Just something we wish would stop. Something we prefer to talk about.

The boat has had to slow down. We are now due to arrive in Bergen ten hours late. We will still make our onward connections.
